Bio:
Andrea Nicholas is a wellbeing facilitator, sound practitioner, and voice activation guide with over a decade of experience designing and leading workshops, retreats, and experiential group practices within the fields of sound healing, creative expression, and women’s wellbeing.
Her work with the voice began in 2010 with the emergence of Vocal Alchemy, a practice of channeled vocal sound. Over the years she has shared sound and voice-based experiences at private gatherings, retreats, festivals, and wellness spaces around the world. She especially delights in offering this work within naturally resonant environments such as temples, pyramids, cenotes, and cathedrals.
Alongside her work with sound, Andrea facilitates a range of experiential workshops that explore embodiment, cyclical living, expressive voice work, and practices that support greater emotional and lifestyle wellbeing. Her approach blends mindfulness, movement, vocal expression, and reflective practices that invite participants into deeper awareness and authentic expression.
Originally from Ohio, Andrea spent a decade living and facilitating internationally before planting roots in Austin, Texas. There she created the Austin Holistic Women’s Collective, a local community hub of more than 2,000 women that serves as a resource for connection, events, and holistic practitioners.
Her body of work includes Vocal Alchemy sound journeys, Voice Activation experiences, women’s circles, and workshops that explore themes of embodiment, cyclical wisdom, and living in greater alignment with nature.
When not facilitating, she can most often be found tending the garden, collecting eggs from her chickens, or dreaming into future land-based projects that weave together regenerative living, ancestral arts, and community.
Andrea offers private sessions, group experiences, retreats, and collaborative programming.
Andrea is available for select collaborations, private sessions, group experiences, and commissioned sound work, including custom Vocal Alchemy soundscapes. You are welcome to reach out on the Contact page to learn more.
